Today I had power supply problems.
I've been an amateur computer techie for many years, and I have one solution if you have power supply problems such as:
Power Supply Won't power on
Power Supply doesnt work
My solution: BUY A NEW POWER SUPPLY. Most of the time there's something wrong with either the power supply, or the motherboard compatibility with the supply. If your motherboard does not like your power supply, then you need to find a power supply that is compatible.
Speaking of which, I really want a OCZ Seasonic, but I'll wait until the price goes down or if I can find a deal.
The Eagle 550w Power Supply failed in my old 939 system, so I tried to jump-start it.
Unfortunately for me, I'm just outside the warranty and I can't really bring it back to Microcenter.
So, I'm pricing out new power supplies. I think I'll check out New Egg for the Diablotek PHD, they seem to have better ratings than the EL or PSD series.
