Remembering Jose Canseco and the 1990's Oakland A's

I was in Arizona in the early 1990's. As a child, I loved to see the spring training games.

I remember once we saw Jose Canseco and the Oakland A's play a game.

The game itself was lackluster, the baseball players were simply hanging out, not really pressing themselves.

A particular big baseball star (not naming any names) was signing autographs for the fans.

One fan was far too aggressive and Mr. Baseball Star tore up the baseball card and threw it in his face.

I was a child and shocked by this display of rudeness. I couldn't believe it; there was my hero, he was really a big angry brute.

Supposedly they never used steroids.
