Christian and Not Self-conscious About it

Yeah, I went to church camp when I was a kid. Had a blast.

I think there's a weird strain of Codependent Christians out there who find more fun in blaming other people for problems than actually living their lives.

I suppose today that I'm much more of a Unitarian, open to other religions and sharing and caring.

Fundamentalists might say that this is just a form of agnosticism; I suppose that's true.

However, belief in a Supernatural being that owns the universe is a huge idea. Monotheism itself is a strange concept.

What's stopping us from believing in Animism or any other aboriginal belief system? It's social pressure.

Social pressure, I contend, is behind both the new aggressive atheism, and the aggressive 21st-century Christian cults.

Honestly, who cares what other people think about your religion? Americans cannot discriminate against religion (or, sometimes, lack of) for jobs.

Although, I guess you wouldn't want an atheist or anti-theist as a camp counselor at church camp.
